About 716 Transit
A fast, independent way to ride Buffalo & Niagara.
716 Transit is an independent bus schedule tool for the NFTA system. It reads NFTA's public schedule data and turns it into quick answers: pick a route, pick a stop, see the next buses. No app to install, no account to create, and it stays fast on your phone.
Not affiliated with NFTA
716 Transit is not affiliated with the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority. Times come from NFTA's published schedules — always double-check with official sources when it matters. For fares, passes, and official service information, visit metro.nfta.com.

Frequently asked questions
How the times work, and where they come from.
Where do the schedule times come from?
From NFTA's public GTFS schedule feed — the same data behind official trip planners. It's rebuilt into a fast local database here, and updated whenever NFTA publishes seasonal schedule changes.
Is this live GPS tracking?
No. These are scheduled times, not live bus positions. Traffic, weather, and detours can shift real arrivals — when in doubt, be at your stop a few minutes early.
What do Inbound and Outbound mean?
Inbound means toward downtown Buffalo. Outbound means away from downtown.
Can I buy fares or passes here?
No. Fares are handled through official channels — the Token Transit app, MetGo, or exact cash on board.
Which day's schedule am I seeing?
The planner defaults to today's service (weekday, Saturday, or Sunday/holiday). You can switch it with the Day picker in step 5.
